Charles Mizrahi’s Early Life
Growing up, Charles Mizrahi thought that every dollar mattered and valued it highly. That is why, Charles states, he would try to find every opportunity to save and keep dollar bills.
When he was six years old, he sold greeting cards door to door, which helped him teach the value of money and how hard work and perseverance were needed to earn money.
When Charles was nine years old, he sold decals of his favorite baseball team to his classmates. Thus, he tried every way to earn extra cash during his teenage years. Charles claims that this showed him how investment truly works.
When Charles turned twenty years old, he started trading on the floor of the New York Futures Exchange.
Hampton Investors Inc.
Three years after Charles had started trading in the New York Futures Exchange, he founded his own money-management firm.
In February 1985, he founded and became president of Hampton Investors Inc., which was a New York corporation that specialized in stock mutual fund investing as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and with the New York State Department of Law in New York. Soon, in this firm, Charles Mizrahi saw himself managing and overseeing $200 million in clients’ money.
