Tyson McGuffin’s Early Life
Born and raised in Lake Chelan, Washington, Tyson McGuffin was a natural athlete in a family that was very fond of wrestling.
His father was a wrestling coach in a high school, and he encouraged Tyson McGuffin to participate in it. Thus, Tyson McGuffin’s main sport was wrestling as he grew up.
Later, he started playing tennis and played competitively at the junior college level. As he continued playing tennis, he became a tennis coach too.
Shortly after, Tyson McGuffin was introduced to the game of pickleball. Although he initially struggled to keep up with the fast-paced game, he used his skills in tennis to become a competitive player.
